Our main time of meeting together is for worship at 11am every Sunday morning of the year. This service lasts about 1 hour 15 minutes. It is followed by the opportunity to have a cup of tea or coffee. The service itself consists of the singing of hymns, prayers, a sermon and an offering for the work of the church. The hymn books in use are the latest Church of Scotland hymn book (CH4) and Mission Praise.

Some of the hymns sung are modern and some are traditional. The music is a mix of organ and piano. The sermon is based on a passage of scripture - recently we have been reading through John's gospel and the letter of James.

We currently celebrate communion four times a year.

We are part of a Church of Scotland "parish grouping" of four congregations. We are grouped with St. David's Broomhouse, Slateford Longstone and St. Nicholas Sighthill. There is a joint service once a month at 7pm on a Sunday evening. At the moment the format is "café church".

Outwith the Sunday morning service there is a Ladies Friendly Circle which meets most Wednesday afternoons. The Friendly Circle offers support and friendship to some of the pensioners who live locally. It also runs a popular coffee morning at 10am on Thursdays. A small group from the congregation have recently started meeting for prayer on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 7pm until 7.45pm.

Other groups make use of our buildings, some on an occasional basis and some regularly. The most notable of these groups is a Zimbabwean Fellowship called Forward in Faith. Over 100 Zimbabweans join together for Christian Worship from all around the Edinburgh area every Sunday, meeting in our large hall.
